Lha depends on the goodwill of volunteers and monetary and material donations for it to provide essential rehabilitation resources to the exiled Tibetan community. Lha is a non-profit organization dependent on monetary contributions from philanthropic corporations and generous individuals. In India, even a little goes a long way, and a lot goes very far!

His Holiness the Dalai Lama Trust has been helping the NGOs working for the welfare of the Tibetan people from time to time. The Trust helps the NGOs with infrastructural development. Recently, the Dalai Lama Trust has acknowledged the welfare and rehabilitation work done by Lha

in the field of education and the Trust has donated 5 personal computers to Lha to further improve the technical infrastructure. Lha has been conducting computer lessons for its students and this donation from the Trust will further strengthen the computer education programme that Lha has undertaken. For the past 7 years Lha has been using 5 computers for teaching purpose and the current addition of 5 brand new computers donated by the Trust has further strengthened its technical infrastructure. Lha understands the value of modern education and its importance in the current world scenario, thus it seeks to guide and provide its students with the necessary knowledge that would help them carve a better future for themselves. Lha is thankful to The Dalai Lama Trust for donating 5 personal computers and this gesture has indeed motivated Lha to do better work in the field of modern education and help the people.

We hope to continue the Clear Vision program and the Dental project, dependent on funding, when the residents of McLeod Ganj return from the Kalachakra initiation in January 2012. We anticipate a resurgence of interest in the programs, and appreciate any donations.
