Since 1997, Neil has been spending six months of every year working with the Tibetan refugee community in both India and Nepal. For the other six months of the year, Neil teaches international social work at the Tulane University School of Social work in his hometown of New Orleans.

Danielle is a medical student who taught health education classes at Lha and assisted with volunteer coordination. She says, “Volunteering with Lha is such a rewarding experience. The students are always eager to learn more and are a joy to teach. The staff is helpful and truly cares about the community they are working to improve.”


Ingmar Frey

From Mexico

Mr. Ingmar from Mexico is a professional computer programmer web developer. For the past seven weeks, he has been working on the design and development of our new website.   This service has been of great benefit to our organization.   Lha’s management would like to say hearty thanks for Mr. Ingmars great work and contribution.
