Lha Charitable Trust has a job opening for a one year, contract staff member as a Office Secretary. The main objective of Lha Charitable Trust is to provide various social services and education for the local community. Consequently, applicants should be committed to the mission and vision while possessing good people skills.
The successful applicant will possess the following skills and qualifications:

1.- Job Title: Office Secretary
2.- Summary of work: Daily work and responsibility includes: office administration, communication, office related work, dealing with students, volunteers and the general public as well as working closely with local partner organizations.
3.- Location of position: Lha office, McLeodGanj, Dharamsala
4.- Seat availability: One
5.- Status: Full time contract staff for one year with continuation of work after that depending upon performance.
6.- Type of recruitment: Written test, interview and public speaking.
7.- Closing date: 24th December2012.
8.- Minimum qualifications:
a.- BA with English Honors and office management as one of the main courses
b.- Working knowledge of both oral and written English and Tibetan.
c.- Computer skills
d.- Self-motivated and determined
e.- Applicant must be above 25 and under 40 years of age
9.- Preferred qualifications:
a. M.Phil. M.A with NGO or office management are one of the main courses.
b. Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills in English, Tibetan and Hindi.
b. Advanced Computer skills
c. One year or more related work experience
10.- Salary and Benefits:
a.-Basic Salary starts from 10,000 or more depending on qualification
b.- Other benefits will be endowed in par with other staff.
